I have experience of catering for a range of dietary needs and allergies through my role as cook on a number of Brownie holidays. I am also happy for parents to provide their own meals and snacks if they prefer.
Food I provide may include:
Snacks
fruit and cheese kebabs
homemade cake or biscuit
banana bread
fruit scone
frozen smoothie lolly
rice cakes
crumpet and fruit
Lunch
Sandwiches (cheese, tuna, ham etc.)
Mini pizza
Soup and roll
Risotto
Filled wraps
Vegetable spring rolls
Boiled egg with 'soldiers'
Jacket potato
I usually serve all of the above with a range of salad vegetables and fruit for dessert.
Water is always available to drink and Under 5s receive 1/3 pint of milk per day under the Nursery Milk scheme.
